I am Soooo not a morning person. I'm not really a waking-up sort of person at all. My alarm went off at 10:00 am today, since I have huge amounts of cleaning and stuff to do before our Sunday Yule party. I finally crawled out of bed at 11:30, having hit the snooze button every 9 minutes in the interval. I then staggered downstairs. That is literal. I usually don't have very good balance when I first awake.

Is it any wonder I have 'buy a new coffeemaker' so much higher on my list of priorities than it is on taxladys? And now, I think I need to take a shower, since I've been up for 3 hours now and my eyes still went blurry twice while writing this.

I just learned of this from jenni_the_odd so you know its gotta be true:

It is now possible, to give someone in need a llama, for only US$150! For a lesser donation of $20, I think they get a timeshare on the Llama. And, if you're not into llamas, they have options to give folks Buffalos, sheep, bees, ducks, pigs and other critters! No anteaters though. So remember, next time you see a homeless person on the streets of Montreal, just think how much better off they would be with their own llama...
