I didn't even get around to some of the serious goofing off I had planned. I just sat and zoned out for most of the day.

Still Awake.

I don't know whats wrong with me today. I had real trouble waking up this morning, and then I was grouchy all day. The grouchy part is unusual for me, it only happens once or twice a year. I even ended up yelling at one of our cats for pestering me. All she wanted was some attention. All I managed to do today was a single load of dishes out of the 10 or 12 things I had hoped to get done. So, I decided to go to bed early and get an equally early start on the chores tomorrow. The next thing I knew, it was midnight. Well, still not too bad. If I fell asleep immediately I could be up for 8:00 am. No dice. Here I am, still feeling lousy, and now not able to sleep. I don't often feel miserable, and so I have no idea how to cope with it. I guess I'll go downstairs and see if there's a late-late show on, since nothing is happening on LJ right now.

Oof.

Well, I'm awake again, after having finally fallen asleep around 7:00 am. Am feeling much better now; far less the grump. There was even hot coffee waiting for me when I got downstairs. Now all I need to do is finish waking up and then get started on a large pile of chores.

taxlady is currently out shopping and I'm waiting for her to return before I have my shower. Otherwise, she's sure to want help with the groceries just as I get wet. Whoops! There she is now!
