Serenity opened while we were off in Denmarkia, so I imagine that most of the folks on my flist have already seen it. If anyone hasn't, but wants to, now is the time to speak up, since taxlady and I are thinking of going to see it soon.
Sadly, it's had its premier in such countries and England and Switzerland. It was going to be shown here in the beginning of November, but now it seems there's no agreement to get the rights to show it here (nor does there seem to be any ambition to do so). I think it'll be available on dvd in December. I suppose it's not a super long wait, really, it's just that I would really like to have seen it in the theatre. :\
Haven't worked that out. There used to be an option for cheapie tuesdays, but I'm not sure that applies anymore. Anyway, Linda is leaning towards a weekday next week.
Seeing as we are currently hip deep in household disasters, we may not get to the theatre this coming week after all. We'll let you know how things work out.

Date: 2005-10-19 05:38 pm (UTC)I have seen it when it came out and I am a bit too tight to the $$ to go see it again, seeing that there are other movies I would like to go see.
But it is great and well worth the money.
