ISP Buy-out.

Hmmm. I just woke up to find a message in my in-basket from my ISP. I originally signed up with DSL.ca a couple of years ago. Shortly thereafter they were bought out by wiznet.ca, and the transition was a bit rough, but they quickly became competant at what they were doing. Now though, they have just been bought out by magma.ca, which is already a part of Primus, and I don't know what that will lead to.

My current ISP has no bandwidth caps, has no policies against running a network, and allows you to run servers. I certainly hope none of that changes.

Sympatico prefers to provide MSN that to provide real service and not hangup when you pretend not using Windows and your line is actually down.
