swestrupDue to a bug in another program (which locked my D: drive and then crashed) my email program (pegasus) was unable to read its master folder index file when I tried to shut it down to reboot. So, it created a NEW one.
Now all 7000 of my folders, which before were carefully arranged in a heirarchy, are now all in a single flat directory structure. I don't think I lost any data (other than the shape of my heirarchy) but its gonna take DAYS to fix it, if I can even figure out where all of the folder belong...

Date: 2004-10-23 02:09 pm (UTC)The WORST part is that pegasus doesn't allow you to drag a group of folders into a subfolder, you have to do it one at a time. So, I can't even speed things up by selecting groups of folders that all should be in a common subfolder.
I was already planning to migrate away from Pegasus, and this has convinced me.
