It looks like Montreal researchers have developed a promising DNA-based vaccine to combat multiple sclerosis. Larger clinical trials are being planned and, if successful, could pave the way to developing treatments for other auto-immune diseases.

VW 1 Litre Car.

Volkswagen has a prototype car with an amazing 1 L/100km fuel economy figure (thats 235 mpg, for Americans). It should be available in Europe in 2009, and in North America some time after.
