You're not the first one to point out the 28-hour day idea. The problem, of course, is that it takes no account of scheduled events that you have no control over.
As a result the schedule I had was 28-hour-ish. More so during weekdays, less so during weekends. Still, it did work quite well for me, for a while.

But yes that one is rather bland...
