Eight Hours sleep.

Its sad when just getting the minimum 8 hours is a newsworthy event, but there you have it. I went to bed by 9:00 pm last night, fell asleep immediately and woke at 5:00 am. Now, if I can just manage to keep this up for a bit, I'll be feeling better in no time.

Technaut Essay

I just posted a new essay to my technaut blog.

Sleep.

It seems I'm overly preoccupied with sleep right now. Its the usual hierarchy of needs thing. Sleep is what I haven't had enough of, so I think about it lots.

Still, its been a fairly productive day. I wrote an essay, I found and fixed a config bug on webigail, and I'm now doing a differential backup, although I don't think I'll manage to stay awake until its done. Its awfully early but I'm getting very sleepy, and on the off chance that going to bed now will let me sleep a full 12 hours, I think I'm going to go give that a try.

Missing Email Notices.

It seems that LJ has finally found the missing LJ comment notices, all 5.7 million of them. They should be arriving in folks in-boxes over the next 2 days. Gee, I sure hope that number isn't each.
