Six Dumb Ideas
Sep. 12th, 2005 11:19 amI just finished reading The Six Dumbest Ideas in Computer Security. I went to read them with the expectation of them being nonsense, but I was wrong. In this case, I agreed with 99.44% of what the author had to say.

CN Tower and Stuff.
Sep. 12th, 2005 08:28 pmOne of my Torontonian friends, namely
_grey_knight sent me a photo of the CN Tower from a unique perspective. It is now definitely my favorite photo of that much-photographed tower:

I'm not terribly fussy about toothpaste. There is a particular anti-tartar brand of aquafresh that I avoid because it causes my mouth to break out in ulcers, but otherwise I pretty much use whatever seems handy.
taxlady is a lot more fussy though. She hates mint-flavored toothpaste. If you check around, you'll find that most of the stuff out there is some varient on mint, so that narrows things down a fair bit.
Anyway, we both get the same toothpaste, since it makes life simpler, and the stuff we've been using hasn't mentioned any particular flavor on it before, other than 'classic'. Well, the latest tube of the stuff we bought was in a new design of container, and it proudly announced that what we've been using is myrrh flavor.
Myrrh? You know, I've always heard of that stuff, but I never knew you could flavor toothpaste with it. So, I now know what the stuff tastes like, and its not that bad. Still, I always thought it was used in perfume and incense, not as a flavoring...
