Its later than it usually is by now.

Given that, I figure its waaay past time I was in bed asleep. I had a good day. I went for a walk with _sps_ to the dollarstore where he bought a very scarey flexible grabby thingy, and where I totally failed to find either of the two items that I went for (but ended up buying two-sided tape and sticky felt, so it wasn't all wasted.)

And then I took a deep breath and worked out how much money I wanted to ask for doing consulting work. Lots of googling and calculating was done, and I even pulled up Mathematica for a bit to look at exponential decay curves for discount rates...

In the end I put down what I thought was reasonable to ask for, and hit the send button. So, now I just need to wait for a response.

We'll see what happens. Anyway, thanks for all of the various inputs from my friends. It all helped!

I Woke Up.

I had a most strange and interesting dream, involving a world in which there was a major pagan religion that had the place that Christianity has in ours. Huge cathedrals, a wide variety of versions and lots of rituals involving symbolic objects which stood for various eternal principals. The big event in the dream was that the eternal principals had suddenly started choosing people as their avatars and everything was topsy-turvey. Seemingly random folk were suddenly discovering that they were Love or Health or even Philosophy.

Weird stuff.
