Given that, I figure its waaay past time I was in bed asleep. I had a good day. I went for a walk with

_sps_ to the dollarstore where he bought a very scarey flexible grabby thingy, and where I totally failed to find either of the two items that I went for (but ended up buying two-sided tape and sticky felt, so it wasn't all wasted.)

And then I took a deep breath and worked out how much money I wanted to ask for doing consulting work. Lots of googling and calculating was done, and I even pulled up Mathematica for a bit to look at exponential decay curves for discount rates...

In the end I put down what I thought was reasonable to ask for, and hit the send button. So, now I just need to wait for a response.

We'll see what happens. Anyway, thanks for all of the various inputs from my friends. It all helped!
