swestrupMarcus, my brother, was just here for a quick visit. He's staying at a hotel up the road since there wasn't any room available in mine. He wanted to make sure he knew how to get here.
Tomorrow the two of us are going out shopping because he is car (well, SUV) equipped. I do wonder at what the state of his vehicle will be as he stopped by here on his way home from Burning Man. Things might get a mite dusty tomorrow.
For now though he's confirmed that I am A) alive and B) in California as he says Mom instructed him to make sure, and has headed back to his hotel to crash for the night. That probably means I need to get up by 8:00 am tomorrow so that I'll be awake and coherent when he shows up around 9:30 for breakfast and shopping.
