Feeling Sideways.
May. 26th, 2003 05:01 pmI should be feeling better now. I can almost talk understandably now, my sinuses have cleared up and my throat isn't sore. I'm not even coughing much any more. But. Today I started feeling dizzy and lightheaded. At first I thought it was just low blood sugar since I've also been having major hunger attacks all day, but then I had a major coughing fit which caused my head to ring and my arms and legs to go into spasms. They didn't last longer than about 10 seconds, but I decided spasms were bad, so I went to the nearby walk-in clinic.
The doctor's opinion is that yes, spasms are bad, but that they normally last longer than a few seconds when you're seriously ill, but then again you never know. He suggested I make an appointment with my regular doctor downtown, since she would have a better knowledge of my baseline stats and illness history. In the meantime he said, if they happen again, I should call 911. Great. Just Great.
