swestrupWell, I got *some* things accomplished today, but mostly I tried to unsuccessfully work through the constant yowling of a dieing cat. I hate the fact that I can't really tell when she's yowling because she's in pain, and when she's just wanting a little attention.
On the good news front, I went to the Museum of Fine Arts today with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
taxlady, azrhey, pphaneuf and sps (who now has that "New Canadian" smell). We looked at the Sulpician treasures, and I was struck by how much of it resembled the stuff I've been stealing in Thief. They also had some great architectural drawings and a map of Ville Marie. We also checked out some gilded bronzes and the Streamliner exhibit (which I also very much enjoyed).
Afterwards, due to a communications mixup,taxlady and I went to Janet's house, accompanied by sps who was substituting for azrhey. While we were there, we ate large amounts of Roast Beef, rice and veggies, and later had cheesecake and sherry.
We droppedsps off at his place, and were just about to head home when I noticed I'd left my backpack at Janet's place. So, a quick detour to pick it up, and we were heading home. What with the late start of the dinner, the detour, and stopping for gas, it was past 1:00 am when I got home.
Now, I've just finished going though and dealing with some emails that I really didn't think could wait until morning, so I think I can finally end my day. I shall very shortly be going to bed, and pushing out the Zzzzzzs.
