As I'm in the middle of switching my hours around, I just woke up. I think at this point it qualifies as me getting up 'extra early' rather than 'really late'. Anyway, I woke up feeling happy and optimistic and thankful for my friends. Not really sure why. Maybe its just a mood swing. In any case, I'll take it. I'll take feeling productive over feeling useless any day.
Not much to say, other than that. Since Montreal won the 2009 WorldCon, I've been working on plans for the WorldCon website, and recruiting for Volunteers to do stuff related to it. I've even had some small success there. So, my plan for the day is to alternate trying to figure why the fuck Internet Explorer has decided to indent paragraphs by roughly 4 ems for no reason on my test site, and somehow fix it (any help there would be appreciated), finish up the .PHP coding for the site (just have a bit more debugging) and start configuring it to actually look and act the way we want.
I'll be taking some breaks to play Thief 3, whenever I need to relax. I'm not sure if its the game thats incredibly buggy (which I've heard) or if its the fact that my computer's power supply is inadequate for running my graphics card for extended periods (which I suspect) or that my Windows XP installation is subtly broken (which I know for a fact is true) or some combination of the above (which would figure) but I can only play for an hour to 90 minutes before the game either crashes or my computer spontaneously reboots. :-/ Right now I'm taking the crashes as a hint to get back to work, since otherwise I'd probably play the game all day.
