No News is not always Good News.

swestrupI had two separate promises last week that I would hear back about a job by Monday. Well, its now Tuesday and it hasn't happened. I did hear from one of the parties, but it was just a short email that said "We're still trying to put things in place to make you an offer. Maybe later next week we'll do so." Or, you know, maybe not.
Meanwhile the other prospect (which I think I'm more interested in) hasn't gotten back to me at all. From what they told me at the interview, they HAD to get back to me by Monday, or else no one would be there to talk to me for a week or two. So, do I now look forwards to them getting back to me in a couple of weeks? Bah!
