Quckmanager and Stuff.
Jan. 10th, 2004 03:44 pmSo, I'm awake again now. Got up at 1:00 pm today, and coffee was waiting, so all is good. I still haven't finished my reading of comics/slashdot/lj etc this morning, so I think I'm moving kinda slow.
taxlady is currently taking a nap, but she's expressed an interest in going for a drive today and visiting the health-food store for some good bread and cheese. The place closes at 6:00 pm on a Saturday, so I can't take too much longer waking up.
In other news, I've recently become reaquainged with the Mozilla QuickManager, which is a wonderful little tool for finding, downloading and installing mozilla extensions. After installing it, I used it to download and install:
diggler
venkman
preferential
themer
linky
tab scroller
chromedit
deepest sender
radial context
jslib
spiderzilla
live HTTP headers
... and probably a few others. But I actually recommend the above add-ons.

diggler - Provides a drop down menu with a number of features. The ones I use the most are 'Open a new tab', and a list of all of the parent URLs of your current URL. For instance, right now I'm at "http://www.livejournal.com/users/swestrup/96753.html?replyto=175601", so it would provide links to "http://www.livejournal.com/users/swestrup/", "http://www.livejournal.com/users/", and "http://www.livejournal.com/"
venkman - Javascript and Web page debugger that can show you various parse trees, and let you edit them to see what effect that would have on a page.
preferential - lists ALL of the mozilla configuration flags and lets you edit them, just like about:config does, but it also has (short, often inadequate) descriptions of what those flags do.
themer - Allows you do install mozilla themes that you've downloaded as .jar files.
linky - Allows you to open bunches of selected links, each in their own window or tab.
tab scroller - By holding down the right mouse button and spinning the scroll wheel, you can select which tab to view.
chromedit - Opens up the main user files for customizing mozilla.
deepest sender - LJ client that integrates into mozilla.
radial context - Display context menus as cascading radial menus.
jslib - software library some of these other program require.
spiderzilla - Adds a 'download this whole site' option to context menu.
live HTTP headers - Adds a tab to the 'show info' screen for a web page that shows the headers exchanged between the client and server.
