Lord of the Crooked Paths.

I just friended
eveglass (*waves*), who I've met several times at various parties, events and whatnots. Last time was at
sfllaw's vernissage. All I ever managed to remember was that her name was Julie. I knew she had an LJ account, but had no idea what her name was. The story of how I found out shows the strange power of social sites.
It started when I noticed that
iangurudata had commented on a Facebook image posted by
archdiva in which he claimed he 'looked like a Cheshire pimp', and I decided that was worth seeing. It was. I also noticed that one of the lovely ladies in the photo looked familiar but it was only the fact that the image identified her as Julie which allowed me to call up the memory. A quick trip to her facebook page confirmed who I thought it was. Then I noticed that she had imported notes from her LJ, which let me finally put an LJ name to her. So, now she's friended here.
I'm sure there are more convoluted paths that one could take in identifying someone, but its a record for me!
