Oh, and I'm just going to be really annoying and point out that this is actually closer to the sulsa (Korean assassins back in the Silla empire) headwear than the ninja headwear. AFAIK the ninja headwear was made of two pieces of cloth whereas the sulsas only needed one to cover their heads.
