Washemupatron is Better!
Mar. 27th, 2007 03:02 pmThe service technician was just here, and in just a few minutes he had swapped door-sensor modules and we had a working dishwasher again. Right now its running completely empty to remove the dried and caked-on liquid soap that we put in there a week ago before discovering it was kaput. After that I'll load it up with a big batch of dirty dishes, and I'll feel that a small victory over entropy has been made.
Combined with the fact that yesterday, with the help of
taxlady and a heat-gun borrowed from my parents I managed to melt some Tupperware off of the stove burner it had melted into, and return the burner to use, I'm actually feeling quite good about how things are going.
Of course, there is still the problem that the contractors who fixed our basement managed to break our shower head while cleaning up. Oh, it still works, but it no longer hangs up, so one has to hold it continuously while showering. Of course, we didn't discover this until hours after they had left. So, we seem to be 2:1 vs Entropy at the moment.
