Office Archaeology

One of the hazards of finally cleaning one's office is that one keeps running across files of notes on interesting projects that I had long forgotten about, and which I have new ideas on approaches too. I've decided to be firm and just try to put the notes into a more archiving-friendly form (ie, on the private section of my wiki) and then toss the papers. That way, at least, they won't clutter my office and I can still take them up again some time.

Meanwhile, I have to motor if I'm to catch my bus!

Yeah. Actually, at this point I have something like a dozen, but the main one is at http://sti.pooq.com. It mostly just looks like a normal web site, but its a wiki. I just password-protected it and I'm the only one who knows the password. That means that if I want to add to or modify a page, I just login and then editing buttons appear on the site. From there its the matter of just a few moments to throw up some content or add some new pages. Now that I almost never worry about HTML, I find managing my own website a breeze.
