Happy New Years!

taxlady and I don't usually go out on New Years Eve unless we're in walking distance. She doesn't want to chance the Russian roulette that the tipsy revelers make of our highways on this night. At one point we had neighbors that we celebrated with, but they've long since moved away, so tonight we plan to have a quiet night together, just the two of us.

We'll probably have a simple supper, followed by trifle for desert and Champagne when Midnight comes. After that, I expect I will shortly be hitting the sack, as 6:00 am came awfully early this morning.

We don't have any big plans for tomorrow, other than the building of a lasagna, one of the foods that I've been seriously craving for months, and that I won't be able to eat again once I resume my diet on the 3rd.

Tuesday I'll be helping Tim with his moving again, which will probably take up much of the day. After that, the prognosticator is foggy, although there are tentative plans to meet up with sps on the weekend for gaming and a trip to Toronto sometime around the middle of the month, in order to see some folks that I haven't seen in ages (and perhaps to meet some folks on my f-list that I've never met).

The further we project into 2007 the hazier things get, but I'm still pretty sure it ends with me being fabulously wealthy and happy. Just so you all know the plan.

Well, that IS an excellent plan, even if the details are a little foggy at this point.
