A Quiet Morning

Once again I am awake quite early. That seems to happen here at my folks place. I'm not sure why. Anyhow, the house is asleep. Its just me and Beamer the cat who're awake now.

I don't mind. Its very relaxing, and I expect that my Mom will be waking up soon, as she's usually the first up, by a fair number of hours. This has been a good trip for destressing and calming down. Not having any agenda or chores waiting for me does that.

Nothing lasts forever though, and we'll be hitting the road in the early afternoon, to head home. I'm sure the cats will be glad to see us return, or at least for us to show up and feed them. Currently in Cornwall we've got rain mixed with snow coming down, and I gather that its snowing in Montreal right now.

We have our snow tires on the car, so I'm not anticipating any trouble, other than the occasional other person on the road who doesn't have snow tires and is startled by the fact that it might even snow in December...
