This article on wireless energy transfer seems worth a look. Depending on how strongly this effect works in real life, it may be a viable solution for powering smart-dust sensor systems.

Wireless energy transfer has existed for years. The major problem, though, seems to be that reverting the energy in a speeding bullet to usable energy is a bit of a pain... literally :-p

The problem is that any body part you did happen to have with the right resonant frequency, would 'splode.
