As I sit here in the gloom of my dark office, curtains wide open, I keep catching myself thinking that I slept in too long and the sun is already going down. Hardly. At this time of day the sun should be streaming in that window and making it impossible to see the monitor.

Looking out the window now, I can't even tell where the sun is behind those clouds.

My cube is off in a corner, so the only way I can directly experience weather is to look at the ceiling on the other side of the office for light level. I've resorted to webcams to watch the clouds, and GOES imagery to see the other side.
