swestrup | Up Waay Too Late.

I should have been in bed many hours ago, but I got caught up in a project and didn't want to go to bed until I was done.

I've been going through the

august_writing community and collecting copies of all of the stories and fragments that I posted there last August. Most have ended up in my web site's story collection. I didn't want to stop because the work was so heartening. I remembered August as a month when I didn't get much written, yet its taken me hours to collect and process what I did write. Much of it is good stuff too -- stuff I had already forgotten I had written.

It makes me wonder about the possible existence of many other good things I have done over the years that have similarly slipped from my mind. Anyways I'm now heading off to bed, very tired but considerably less futile-feeling than I have been in some time.
