swestrupIts the morning and I am starting to awakening. Coffee helps. I don't usually sleep great the first night in a strange bed so I tossed and turned a bunch last night. Will probably make up for it tonight.
In other news, not much to say. Hanging out with my folks. My older brother Marcus is here now. Rather than moving directly from the west coast he toured a bunch a places first, including a stop at burning man. He's staying with my folks until he finds himself a job and apartment somewhere in the Toronto/Ottawa/Montreal triangle area. He does web design and has some sort of security certificate (he's done work for financial institutions) so I imagine he won't have any trouble finding something. All I've been able to find are webdesign gigs.
Mom has an idea to try to get my other brother Vaughan and his wife Irina to join us for supper and have a big ol' family reunion for the first time in donkeys ages. That might be fun. There's been lots of catching up. Aparantly my Dad was talking to my cousin Sylvia the other day and she wanted to know if she and I were still twins. Well, unless she's gone bald and grown a beard, my guess is 'no'. I haven't seen Sylvia since I was in highschool (and vice versa, strangely enough).
