Because I said I would
Aug. 15th, 2006 05:47 amBecause I promised
kino_kid I would:
Them's that are interested, sign up for the following service:
1. I'll respond with something random about you
2. I'll challenge you to try something
3. I'll pick a colour that I associate with you (Actually, I won't. Being color blind sort of limits my ability to do that.)
4. I'll tell you something I like about you
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of
7. I'll ask you something I've always wanted to ask you

4. What's not to like? You're intelligent, articulate, witty, and a bold raconteur.
5. My first memory of you was meeting at the Old Dublin with a bunch of other folks for one of
6. A cat, of course. Every cat knows its the center of the universe!
7. How did you end up in your chosen field? Did you always have an intense interest in drugs, or did you end up where you are as an accident?

Date: 2006-08-16 01:54 am (UTC)2. How about posting some more? Now that you've moved to Ontariario, and have gotten a life, I never know what you're up to any more!
4. It should come as no surprise that I like many things about you. Your mischievous smile when you're up to something is particularly appealing.
5. My first/clearest memory of you was from Denzo's two-day Christmas party. I remember laying on the floor with an empty wine glass in hand and you standing over me with a bottle and threatening to try to fill it by pouring from 5 feet up. You had that mischievous smile mentioned in number 4.
6. As your own comment above hints, I think of you as a happy puppy, full of fun and life.
7. You seem (to me) to have a bit of the Gypsy wanderlust in you. Is there any one place in the world where you would be happy to settle and put down roots, or would you be happiest living the nomadic lifestyle as a jetsetter or RV dweller?

3. What happened to 3!?? ;)
4. Thank you. :)
5. Is there any photographic evidence of thi event? ;)
6. *w00f*
7. I am happy living in different places and seeing different things and meeting different people... but I don't think that I could ever live in any one place for decades... that doesn't really appeal to me... unless it's Prague.
Now where's #3!?
:P

4. You've got a great sense of humor. We've not spent a whole lot of time together, but my memories of you all seem to involve happiness and laughing at your jokes and stories.
5. My clearest memory of you was a visit from
6. You remind me of a bull. Not because of any particular attributes of yours, but because of the stories you told of dealing with cattle on a ranch, and the joys of trying to handle bulls.
7. Just why did you choose that name and Icon? It doesn't really suit my mental image of you at all.

On the other hand, I have been pissed on so much in my life that I must be a toilet.

Date: 2006-08-17 04:27 am (UTC)2. Don't really have a good challenge for you. All the things I can think of to have you do to better yourself, you're pretty much already working on. At this point you've pretty much got to put on a mask and cape and fight evildoers in your underwear to go much further. NOTE: If you are already doing this, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW!
3. Mysterious placeholder item.
4. You're forthright and honest. Someone always knows where they stand with you. If they piss you off, you tell them. I need to learn to do that.
5. My earliest memory of you was at the Simulations Group of Montreal. You had just rolled up a new 1st level Ranger character and had maxed out on hit points. At the time I had no idea what a Ranger was, nor a hit-point, for that matter.
6. You remind me of a bear. Solid, unflappable, and not a good idea to poke with a stick.
7. When/Where did you ever meet Monica? That was waaaay before my time.

6) Poking me with a stick is always contra-indicated. (I do enjoy a solid poking now and then, though .... now that just sounds wrong...)
7) Met her in her first year of CEGEP, my second year - Sep 1979. She was the main reason my average for that semester was a staggering 22%... but, I eventually recovered (3 year program took 5...). We started officially dating March 15, 1980. And as we did most activities together (from role playing to SCA) we were always Ross&Monica - one name - and have been for almost 60% of our lives (basically all our adult life.)
