Awake and Stuff.

taxlady last night. It was at a friends house and he served lamb, which was pretty good. I also indulged and had two deserts and after-dinner coffee. Naturally I couldn't sleep when night came, although its really not clear if I should blame the evening coffee or the fact that I hadn't gotten up until 3:00 pm.
In any case, I ended up watching a newly downloaded (gotta love mvgroup!) 3-part BBC documentary (in the walking-with-dinosaurs series) about the scariest sea creatures of all time. I kept thinking thatblacksquiggles would be horrified fascinated by them. Then again, none of the beasts shown are still alive, so they're not exactly a current threat to swimmers.
Anyway, I finally fell asleep around 6:00 am and had to be up for noon since I toldsps that I'd be heading downtown to meet him around 2:00 ish. You'll note that that has me heading out the door in less than 30 minutes and I still haven't had any breakfast. On the other hand, I have had 2 coffees and my shower, so I'm not completely off schedule. Now that I think on it, I believe I shall make me a rare 3rd espresso to help start my day (since my brain is the NOT WORKY) and grab a quickie breakfast while I finish drying off, so that I can throw on some clothes and catch my bus somewhat on schedule.
And that's MY plans for the day, how about the rest of you?
