swestrup | Yup, Awake Again.

Not much to report today. Slept in again. I was in bed by 1:00 am and slept in until almost 11:00. Lately I've been falling into an exhausted sleep the moment my head hits the pillow -- rather unusual for me. Maybe its all the various jobs I've been doing around the house. The trouble is, most of the minor jobs are now taken care of and there are a number of major jobs waiting.

One of which is to activate the vertical stacking option of our new washer and dryer and lift one onto the other. There have been two things prevening me doing this before. The first was that the water hoses that came with the washing machine were ridiculously short and didn't reach to where we wanted to stack the two units. I bought some new hoses a few days ago, so that has now been taken care of. The second problem was that I have to level the bottom unit so the whole thing doesn't rock and fall over in operation. Said leveling involves a level placed on top of the unit while someone lies on their stomach and turns leveling bolts on the underside of the unit; a position from which they cannot see the level. I'm still not sure how to do this alone, and I'm not sure it would be much easier with someone reading the level and saying 'left side up a bit'.
