Microsoft has recently admitted that 20% of the time when their WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage) software claims that a copy of Windows is not a licensed copy, they're wrong. And here a friend of mine was outraged the other day when he thought the false positive rate was as high as 5%!

Well, what does a false positive cost them? How many of those at Guantanamo Bay are guilty? This is a war, you see. A chance to make money.

Right now it seems to be costing them massive amounts of bad publicity and a class-action lawsuit.
