I just learned that Hayao Miyazaki died this weekend, of a stroke. He was a Grand Master of the art of animation, and he will be sorely missed.

It was an announcement by philfoglio. He's a joker, but I don't think he would joke about THAT. Maybe he was misled as well. I go check his blog again.

There were announcements about his attendance of some Ghibli production processes, something like on Thursday. No announcements more recent than that on any Ghibli/Miyazaki sites.
