I love the S-Street Martians more than I can say. My poor boyfriend doesn't really remember them at all, but indulges me when I occasionally break into "yipyipyipyip"s. Now, he will understand.

YES. That fear response was my first AHA experience that aliens would be, you know, alien. Not just in appearance but in behavior. Something that star-trek actors in rubber bits never conveyed.
