That Migrainey Feeling.
Jun. 23rd, 2006 01:04 pmI woke up with a throbbing head which I initially took for sinus congestion, but now turns out to the first signs of an incipient migraine. Owie.
I've already downed some 222s and have switched over to real coffee as caffeine is one of the best methods I know of stopping a migraine before it blooms fully. With any luck, the throbbing will soon subside rather than increasing.
If I've caught iit in time (and I believe I have) then the worse that will happen will be that I will feel a bit delicate for the rest of the day. Not good when I'm planning on attending a party tonight, but not really a disaster either.
If this espresso I'm guzzling doesn't do the trick, then I'll be forced to retreat to a darkened room to sleep it off for 6 to 8 hours, and will be in no condition to party when I awake, but this is the less likely scenario. In fact, I can already feel the throbbing start to subside.
