Innovative, or Idiotic?

swestrupI was just idly wondering what good having most website available on a cell phone was, when it occured to me that one could make a website specifically to leverage the mobility of cell-phone users.
My first idea was a sort of geo-caching treasure hunt. You go and hide some nifty item somewhere in the city each day, and then release clues to its location on your website an 30 minute intervals. First to find the item gets to keep it. I wonder if it would be popular?
