Recapitulation.

Things I've discovered this Monday:

1. The second coffee does recapitulate phylogeny.
2. Mondays suck. (Well known, yes, but continually rediscovered.)
3. Everything takes more time than it should. Even with all the time in the world, I'm finding it impossible to get stuff done. I haven't managed to get to the #1 item at the top of my personal todo list since Thursday, despite it being the top item. Too many overriding concerns, emergencies, previous commitments and the like have shown up. Today will, no doubt, be no different.
4. I love taxlady for many reasons, not least of which is because she makes me espresso when I wake up with my head all throbby.
