It seems that Ambien may cause a sleep-eating disorder where folks go on munch-a-thon's while fast asleep. Some folks have reportedly eaten raw bacon or buttered cigarettes in this state.

There have also been a series of sleep-walking incidents related to Ambien, the scariest of which involve "zombie drivers". They get in their car and drive, but when they fully wake up have no memory of driving the car. I don't have a link handy.
