joenotcharles sharing his free ticket, I got to see "V for Vendetta" last night. I had not really expected much, so I was quite pleasantly surprised by the movie. Its most especially recommended for folks who have some admiration for Guy Fawkes, as the main character "V" is portrayed as a man trying to do what Fawkes failed at: blow up the houses of parliament. His intent is to bring down a fascist dictatorship that has taken over England.
The end result was really quite entertaining.
