So, I was thinking of a web site that would host a number of pro-walking, pro-hiking services. Things like gmap-pedometer and such. The question is, what to call it? Latin always adds a touch of class. So a lover of walking would be pedis (foot) combined with philio (love of) for ... pedophile. Hmm. So not a good plan. Besides, I'm sure its taken.

It's all because the godless heathen americans gave us keyboards with no AE key.

I feel obliged to point out that -phile is Greek, while ped(i)- is Latin. Even if you mixed Greek and Latin roots it would be pediphile. Using Greek roots, podophile.
