Whee! That said, I'm a bit unimpressed with their conclusion that "liquid nitrogen doesn't do anything to thermite". Yes, they've proved that about a cup full of LN2 can't neutralize about two pounds of thermite, but that shouldn't come as a surprise.
I was, however, impressed with how their basic unit of thermite was a two-pound flowerpot.
You can make it yourself (Its just aluminum powder and rust), but you can also buy it from welding supply shops that deal with the train industry. Its used to weld railroad rails together.
