Need HLEP with Thundermail Bird.
Jan. 19th, 2006 07:50 amI'll even gladly accept help on thunderbird mail, but I don't really expect more than hlep.
Is there any way (obscure option, extension, etc) to get Thunderbird to sort and file my SENT mail for me? I'm sick and tired of going through my sent mail folder and filing everything into the various correspondance mailboxes I use.
Wait... brainwave here... If I set Thunderbird to use my Inbox and my sent-mail folder, would it be possible to set up inbox filters that recognized that it was sent-mail and automatically filed it for me? I'm afraid to try it without some idea of how catastrophic that might be. I also don't know if thunderbird will trigger a filter on mail it has delivered itself into my Inbox (as opposed to fetching it via IMAP).

It is a path to heartbreak and despair. Maybe I'm just being a bit bitter. It couldn't hurt to do a quick search on addons.mozilla.org though, in case someone else has suffered already.
