NaNoWriMo Catching up.

I wrote just shy of 5000 words today. That's the kind of output I'll need to catch up the time I've lost so far. Right now I'm about 5500 words behind where I should be at this point. That's not doing too bad considering I lost most of the first week due to computer problems.

What I need now though is to get past the introduction. I've only managed to place one of the main characters so far. Even so, I'm rather happy about how one of the side-characters turned out. She even managed to develop a distinct personality of her own before I killed her off just now.

NaNo is full of stories of people making incredible wordcounts to catch-up in a few days like that, so I have confidence that you can do it too!
