swestrupI was in bed and getting ready to sleep when the power went out. It took me a while to find and light some candles, and to find the flashlight and some batteries for it. By the time all that was done the power was back on.
I rebooted the server, and told it to reboot by itself if the power goes out again. At least that way if it happens while I'm away I don't have to call someone to come over and hit the 'on' button on the thing.
Of course, the last thing I did before bed was to program the VCR with what I want it to tape while I'm gone. Right now, it doesn't even know what its channels are, but I figure it can blink 12:00 until I get around to reprogramming it tomorrow.
So, now, once more, I shall try to get to bed. And sleep. If I can remember how.
