Foxie?

I just read about Foxie, a plugin for Internet Exploder that gives it many of the features of firefox, such as improved security and tabbed browsing.

When I installed it, it did a security check and told me IE had 3 different trojans installed. I never even USE IE unless I'm going to a windows site, so I wonder how the heck I got infected? Anyway, its nice to see the scanner caught stuff that my other 2 regular sweeping programs didn't.

As an XP user, I have MSIE 6. I don't use it (being a Firefox user), but installed it for the scanner too. It found 7 trojans I didn't know about either.

Thanks for that. It found "SearchHijacker" and "SearchPounder" on my
computer, in spite of having "Trend Micro Officescan". "SearchPounder"
seems to be a specific piece of spyware, whereas "SearchHijacker" seems
to be a generic term, so I'm not sure which specific search hijacker I
had.
