Clean, Clean, Clean.

Sometimes it seems like all I ever do is clean. Of course, on days like today it realy is true, mainly because on all other days I assiduously avoid cleaning. Still, we went and invited some folks over for supper (sfllaw, mricon, kalkully, and M.), so it behooves us to have the place looking not too terrible. Right now none of the furniture is in the right places because we're giving the floor a good sweep/mop but it already looks much better than it did just two days ago.

Yeah, it was tonight. We tried to phone you to confirm, but didn't manage to get through. We couldn't contact Simon either.

Oh well, maybe another time.

Simon phoned to tell us he couldn't make it. Something had come up at work. We only realized when we had hung up that we didn't know if this somehow affected your status or not.

So, we tried phoning you, and him, and had no luck. We even sent Simon some email asking about contacting you.

Oh well, maybe next time?
