taxlady and I are heading out to Alexandria in Ontario to attend a wedding. Its going to be one of those slightly awkward affairs. Too much family history. I've know the groom since he was 3. He's the son of one of my oldest friends. I've spent many Christmasses over at their house.
The problem is that the parents broke up a few years back, and though I like each of them individually, I'm not sure how well things will go over when they are together for the wedding. Plus, I have to admit that I don't actually feel that I know the groom all that well. It was always his dad that I was doing stuff with.
Anyway, we have a gift for the couple, which we need to wrap really soon, and we've picked out our outfits and everything. So we're pretty ready-ish.
