swestrupIn preparation for getting rid of my old VHS collection of movies, TV-shows, etc., I've started downloading episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and burning them to CD. I have the entire series on VHS, and would like to have it in digital format. If I could just afford to buy the DVDs, I would, but on my budget, this will have to do for now.
Anyway, the problem is that the VCDs that I've burned so far display normally on my computer, but have large numbers of artifacts and sound glitches when played on my DVD player. I'm at a loss, as I followed the exact same procedure to create these VCD's as I have numerous others in the past, all of which worked.
I don't know if its my DVD player, or something unusual about these CDs, and I'm not sure how to find out.
