taxlady went to bed several hours ago. I said I would soon do the same, so why am I still up? I dunno. I'm simultaneously sleepy and wide awake and I'm not sure how to handle it. Unlike my SO, who is often asleep before her head hits the pillow, I often have trouble falling asleep if I go to bed before my body is good and tired. Still, looking at the time and the list of things I want to do tomorrow, I guess I had better hit the sack now. First though, I'll have another cup of Tea...

Could you possibly be alluding to ... SEX?!!! You're right in that it really helps one sleep, but the SO was already asleep. Now she has told me I can wake her up to ravage her if I want, but due to my history of trouble sleeping, I'm always VERY reluctant to wake anyone else up. I know she has no trouble sleeping, and doesn't mind being woken up, but I still find it a really hard thing to do.

As for Tea, I typically go for a dark blend of Assam and Darjeeling.

Indeed I understand the want to not awaken another whom one cares for simply to indulge. lol I do in fact TREASURE my sleep (except for lately that is) but I am also rather selfish and if I am lying next to another who can provide me with something I 'need' well then WAKE UP! and give it to me already! *evil grin*
