Its time to update my resume, and I'm not looking forward to it. Do I pretend that the last 3 months didn't happen? Do I put them in and try to explain them at an interview? Do I pretend I'm still working there?

I dunno. (I'm leaning towards #2 as that is the honest thing to do, but I'm unsure its the smart thing to do.)

Well, I think not including it... looks a bit odd... not just to potential employers, but to people that are acquainted with you, in general. I mean, from what I understand... they used and abused, and exploited your abilities and talents to the 3 month mark. I would have demanded some sort of exit interview... and a letter indicating/detailing the reasoons why... granted they are able to refuse... with the 3 month BS... but you can still request it. :/
