For someone who doesn't really have any issues with my gender, I seem to be typing 'man bash' on my computer an awful lot.

That's actually a horrible idea. The Texinfo manual is far more useful.

Thanks! I hadn't actually realized that there was an info page for bash. Certainly the man page is vague and uninformative. I greatly fear that the info page will only turn out to be the exact same vague and uninformative language, only in a harder-to-search format.

The info page is an actual manual, so it is more difficult to use it as a reference.

But it is good to read.
